CANTERBURY JOCKEY CLUB’S SUMMER MEETING.

The Canterbury Jockey Club’s summet meeting commenced on Thursday at Riccarton in fine weather. The course was hard, and the going fast. The attendance was only moderate. The totalisator investments showed a falling off, the total being £4523, as against £5403 last year. The results of the racing were as follows: — TRIAL STAKES of lOOsovs. One mile.
