FIRST DAY. The Dunedn Jockey Club’s Summer Meeting was commenced at Wingatui on Thursday. The weather was perfect -arid the attendance very large. The totalisator investments for the day were £6385, as against £5219 last year, making a total of £13,743 10s for the two days, as compared with £11,661 in 1906.
