FIRST DAY. The Dunedn Jockey Club’s Summer Meeting was commenced at Wingatui on Thursday. The weather was perfect -arid the attendance very large. The sum of £7358 10s was put through the machine, as against £6442 for the corresponding day last year. The following were the results of the racing:— SUMMER HURDLE RACE. One mile and a-half. SECOND DAY. The Dunedin Jockey Club’s summer meeting was concluded, a.t Wingatui on Saturday. The weather was fine and the attendance very good. The totalisator investments for the day were £6385, as against £5219 last year, making a total of £13,743 10s for the two days, as compared with £11,661 in 1906.
