THE A.R.C. METROPOLITAN COMMITTEE.
A meeting of the Metropolitan Committee was held in the Auckland Racing Club’s rooms. Shortland-street, on Monday evening, the Hon. E. Mitchelson being in the chair. Trainers’ Licenses: Trainers’ licenses were granted to W. J. Barron, Albert Dixon, R. G. Fenton, J. I. N. Mackenzie, S. G. Lindsay, E .A. Redfern, and A. S. Lodge. Charles Weal was granted a license for three months. Jockeys: The following received jockeys’ licenses: — J. Deeble, E. H. Redfern, Jas. Cammick, Frank Harper, Frank Peters, W. A. Jorgenson, J. Roach, M. Quinton, and A. H. Cowan. S. A. Neary was granted a license for t_*ree months. Apprentice: An apprentice’s license was granted to Cecil Killick, and his transfer from P. Jones to H. French was approved.
Programmes: — Ohinemuri Jockey Club, March 17 and 18, 1908; Ngunguru Racing Club, December 26; Kamo Racing Club, January 1.
