SALE OF ELDERSLIE YEARLINGS.
The annual sale of Elders" ie yearlings was held last week. There was a large and representative attendance, and most of the lots were well competed for. The sale was the best in the history of the stud, due mainly to the excellent quality and average of the lots subm tted. The highest price was brought by a bay colt by Menschikoff—Armilia, full brother to Armlet, who was purchased by Mr. H. Gaisford, of Oriengi Station, for 825 guineas.
