THE GISBORNE RACING CLUB.
The Steeplechase Meeting of the Gisborne Racing Club takes place on July 4 and 5, and promises to be a very popular fixture. Owners should bear in mind that nominations close with Mr. Nasmith on Saturday next, June 1, for the following events. —Flying Handicap of 60sovs, six furlongs; First Handicap Hurdles of 7 Oso vs, one mile and threequarters. Park Steeplechase of 115sovs, about three miles; Trial Steeplechase of 50sovs, about two miles; Winter Oats Handicap of 60sovs, one mile and a distance; Waikanae Handicap of 60sovs, seven furlongs; Second Hurdles Handicap of 70sovs, two miles; Te Hapara Steeplechase of lOOsovs, about two miles and a-half; Final Steeplechase of 50sovs, about two miles; Farewell Handicap cl GOsovs, one mile.
