Flat Races. —The winner of any flat race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101 b, and of every additional race a further penalty of 61b. Hurdle Races.—The winner of any hurdle race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101 b in the hurdle races, and for every additional race 71b extra. NOMINATIONS for all races, except Trial Plate and Scurry, close on MONDAY, March 4th, 1907, at 8.30 p.m. WEIGHTS for first day’s races will be declared on or about Saturday, March 16th, 1907. For second day’s races will be declared on the night of the first day’s races, at 8 p.m. ACCEPTANCES for first day’s races, and ENTRIES for Trial Plate and Scurry, close on WEDNESDAY, March 20th, 1907, at 8.30 p.m. For second ■ day’s races, close with the Secretary on the Night of the First Day’s Races, at his Office, Feilding, at 9 p.m. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. All entries to be sealed and addressed to Secretary, Feilding, with the name and age at time of entry, name of owner, pedigree, colours of the rider, and performances of the horse. 2. Entries by telegram must be confirmed in writing at the earliest opportunity. 3. Any owner failing to declare his colours at time of entry will be fined Isov, unless they are registered. 4. All races to be run under the Rules of Racing as adopted by the Racing Conference of New Zealand. 5. The Committee reserve the right to alter the date or time for declaration of weights, nominations, or acceptances as they may deem fit. 6. Hack means a horse that has not won at time of entry a race of the value of lOOsovs, or races of the collective value of 250sovs. In entering horses, owners are particularly reminded that the name or assumed name of the owner must be given; also the name of the trainer, the Conference having decided that this information must be inserted on race EDMD.
