TUESDAY. Nearly all the work was on the sand track, and although foggy, a fair amount of work was indulged in before breakfast. Scotty and Master Deiaval were again associated in a circle. The big bay led throughout, but in the last 50 yards the Wanganui Cup candidate was overhauling Scotty. The pair took 1.58 2-ssecs to run round.
