The Kawakawa Hurdles, of about two miles, carries a prize of £2OO. It is followed by the Taonui Hack Hurdles, of £lOO, one mile and three-quarters. The Orepuki Hack Welter is over a mile course, worth £lOO. Seven furlongs is the distance of the Halcombe Welter, carrying with it prize-money to the value of £2OO. The Ongo Hack is over five furlongs, for a stake of £lOO.

An equally attractive programme is that arranged for the second day, the Easter Handicap, of £350 (over 1% miles), being the principal event. Entries close with the secretary, Mr Goodbehere, on Monday, March 4.
