“SUNDAY.”

Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, the closing nights of the season, will be devoted to Thomas Raceward’s comedydrama “Sunday.” It is doubtful if we have ever had a more popular play in Auckland than this story from America. Miss Titell Brune will, of course, again take the role of Sunday, one of the finest things she has ever done, which, is indeed saying much. Mr Thomas Kingston will be Colonel Brinthorpe, Mr Mervale, Arthur Brinthorpe, and Messrs Lloyd, Atholwood, Dudley and Harcourt as the four diggers, Jacky, Davy, Lively and Towser, “the boys,” who have endeared themselves to everyone. It is quite safe to prophesy that the business for the last three nights will beat the record.
