THE CANTEBBUEY JOCKEY CLUB’S 2BAND NATIONAL MEETING. SECOND DAY. The Canterbury Jockey Club’s Grand National Meeting was continued at Riccarton on Thursday. The weather was fine, but the course heavy. The attendance was good and speculation was brisk, investments totalling £17,573. In addition to this £1421 had been invested on the double machine, Phaetonitis and Cuiragno returning a dividend of £3l 19s.
