Melton is a great-grandson of Stockwell v winner or the English St. Leger) out of a granddaughter of Normanby, winner of the English Derby. The total won by the progeny of Seaton Delaval during the seven years he has been at the Stud amounts to about £50,000, which places him at the head of living sires in New Zealand, Seaton Delaval is the sire of Gladsome, Nonette, Rosella, Miss Delaval, Porirua, Silkworm, Gladstone, etc. TERMS: 20 Guineas Single Mare.
