THE NEW ZEALAND FOOTBALLERS RECORD OF THE TOUR. The New Zealanders have played 32 matches in the Old Country, and have Won 31 and lost one. They have scored 829 points, while the points scored . against them number 39. Their average .score per match is just on 26 po nts, and the total score is made up of 96 goals, one field goal, 109 tries, and six penalty goals, while the 39 points registered against them consist of two goals, five trios, two field goals, and two penalty goals. The result of the tour are given below: — September 16: Against Devon County— Won by eight goals, four tries, and one penalty goal (55 points) to a potted goal (4 points). September 20: Against Cornwall.—Won by four goals, seven tries (41 points) to nil. September 23: Against Bristol.—Won by seven goals, two tries (41 points) to nil. The final match played by the New Zealanders in the Old Country, that against Swansea, was a very close call, our men getting the verdict by four •o’nts. (a dropped goal by Wallace) to a try scored by Serine. The visitors were on the defence the whole time, and must be deemed fortunate in gett ng a win, even by so narrow a margin
