Mt. Eden team win the Te Aroha Bowling Tournament Gold Medals.
The fours tournament held on the Te Aroha green during the New Year holidays resulted in a win for Mt. Eden, No. 2 team —Simpson, Surman, Young, S, G. Burns (skip), 18, v. Te Aroha, No. 1 team —Stanley, Wallace, Dalton, Power (skip), 15. The game was well-contested throughout, the winning skip, Burns, putting in some excellent work.
