Goodwood Handicap (carrying 9st), second in Ascot Vale Stakes (beating Fides, Clean Sweep), second in Caulfield Guineas (beating Maltster, Hautboy (winner of October Stakes), and also in Caulfield Futurity Stakes (won after a close finish by Aureus 6.13), Finland carrying 9.1 in 1.29, and beating Maltster, George Frederick, United States.
