The Auckland Ladies’ Golf Club Championship Carnival was continued on Thursday, at the Cornwall Park links, when the second round of the handicap foursomes match was played. Miss Shuttleworth and Miss J. Draper beat Miss Pierce and Mrs Fentort (handicap I2j) by six up and five to play ; Mrs W. R. Bloomfield and Miss Lewis beat Miss Stevenson and Miss Cotter (handicap 18) by nine up and seven to play Miss E. Pierce and Miss Torrance (handicap 9) beat Misses B. and G. Gorrie by five up and three to play; Miss Gillies; and Mrs O’Rorke beat Mrs Russell and Mrs Colbeck (handicap 8) by four up and two to play. ** , * The semi-finals in connection with the championship match of the Auckland Ladies’ Golf Club were played on Friday at the Cornwall Park links, when Miss Miss Lewis beat Miss ’Torrance by six up and five to play, and Miss Gillies beat Mrs W. R. Bloomfield by three up and two to play. •♦• . • The final between the Misses Lewis and Gillies will take place this afternoon, and promises to |be a hard-fought cortbest. Miss Gillies is expected to win the Championship.

At the Cornwall Park links on Saturday afternoon the members .of the Auckland Golf Club played a handicap medal match. The following were the individual net scores :—L. E. Mair, 89 ; W. W.
