Mr T. S. Clibbom, secretary of the Australian Jockey Club, has written to Mr A. D. Webb, hon. secretary to the New South Wales National Coursing, Association, that tlie committee of the Australian Jockey Club have decided to rescind th® regulation! prohibiting registered bookmakers from carrying on their calling at coursing meetings held on courses where unregistered meetings were held. A proviso, however, was made that the registered bookmakers would still be prohibited if any pony and galloway races were held at the place on the same day that a coursing meeting was being run through. The wishes of the Coursing Association have been thus complied with.
