STEELE-PAYNE BELLRINGERS.
A Grand Sacred Concert is announced for Good Friday Night, at Abbott's Opera House, by the Steele-Payne Bellringers, the programme is a good one, and the full company will be heard in their items. Miss Maude Payne, violin solo, “ Home, Sweet Home Miss Agnes Rahilly, song, “ Mother Lullaby,” and a recital, “ The Women of Mumble’s Head Miss Kate Maher, song, “ Sing O ye Angels ” (with violin oblegato by Miss Maude Payne) ; Miss Lizzie Payne on her celebrated “Sleigh Bells,” “He Wipes the Tear Mr James Williams, song, “ Rocked in the Cradle of the Deep Miss Maude Payne, song, “ Joe and Me Mr Ralph Steele, “ Glassophone ” selection ; Miss Maher and MiWilliams duet, “ Excelsior.” Several part songs by the company, and Hand-
bell selections by the Bellringers, make up a very interesting and inviting programme. The company are only able to give this one Concert at present, but are due to appear later, and will open for a short season, which will be eagerly looked forward to by their Auckland friends, who are many.
