Entrance, 1 sov, and acceptance, 1 sov each, to go to the funds. s For three-year-olds and upwards. One mile and a quarter. Northern Champagn Stakes of 500 sovs; second horse to receive 50 sovs, and third horse 25 sovs from the stake. Colts, Bst 101 b; fillies, Bst 81b; and geldings, Bst 51b each. By subscription of 5 sovs each, payable at the post, unless forfeits are declared as follows:—If struck out by the first Friday in December, 1899, 1 sov forfeit; if. struck out by the first Friday in February, 1900, 2 sovs forfeit; if left in after this date, liable for the whole 5 sovs. All forfeits go to make up or increase the stake. Six furlongs. Blaster Handicap of 500 sovs; second horse to receive 50 st vs, and third horse 10 sovs out of the stake. For three-year-olds and upwards. Entrance, 1 sov; acceptance, 3 sovs; and a final payment of 3 sovs each at the post to go to the funds. The winner of any race of the value of 100 sovs, after the declaration of the weights, to carry 31bs extra; of 200 sovs, 51b ; of 100 sovs and one of 200 sovs, 71bs—extreme penalty. One mile. Hurdle Race Handicap of 125 sovs ; second horse to receive 10 sovs out of the stake. Entrance, 1 sov, and acceptance, 1 sov each, to go to the funds. The winner of any hurdle race, after the declaration of the weights, to carry 71b extra. Two miles. Eden Handicap of 100 sovs ;* second horse to receive 10 sovs out of the stake. Derby, Canteibury Cup, or Great Northern Derby to carry 7 lb penalty; of two or three, 141 b penalty. Winner of any other race, or races collectively, of the value of 500 sovs to carry 51b extra; of 1000 sovs, 101 b extra. Maidens at starting allowed —Three-year-olds, 51h; four-year-olds. 71b ; five-year-olds and upwards, 141 b. By subscription of JO sovs each. If struck out by 9 p.m. on the first Friday in January, 1900, 5 sovs forfeit; those left in after this to pay 10 sovs each. One mile and a half.
