RANGITIKEI RACING CLUB SPRING MEETING.
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20. The first Spring Meeting of the above club was he d on Wednesday, toe 20th inst., at Bulls. There was a good attendance, and the sport was very interesting, though the meeting was robbed of all enjoyment by the terrible accident which resulted in the death of the amateur rider. Mr Nelson Mcßae, and the cross-country horse Stilts. During the day the sum of £3789 was passed through the machine.
