RANGITIKEI RACES.
The Rangitikei races took place yesterday. The weather was fine, and there was a fair attendance. The following are the results to hand : —
Flying Handicap.—Toa, 1; The Hempie, 2; Miller, 3. Aquatic also started. Time, Imin 20 1-5 sec. Dividend, £3 Is.
Hurdles. -Water Shot, 1; Hinau, 2; Nea, 3. Thrush, Vanetta, Pistol Shot, and Huka were scratched. Time, 3min 2 2-5 sec. Dividend, £7 12s.
Hack Flying.—Discount and Tirade a dead heat; Will-o’-the Wisp, 3. Outcast was scratched Time, Imin 21sec. Dividends —Discount, £3 16s ; Tirade, £6 18s.
