It is notified for general inf or nation that ■ the Easter Encampment of Instruction of the several arms in the Auckland District will be held this year as under : — The Naval and Coastguard Artillery and a Detachment of the Auckland Bearer Company, and one Medical Officer, will Encamp at Devonport. . Field Artillery, Mounted Rifles, Engineers, Rifle Corps, Bearer Company, and Garrison Band, in a Paddock adjoining Potter’s Epsom. 2. The Comiranding Officer, LieutenantColonel Banks, has been pleased to appoint the undermentioned Officers and N.O. Officers as his Staff Lieutenant-Colonel Dignan, Chief of Staff Major Pirie, A.A.G. (a) Captain Shofield, A.A.G. (b) Captain O’Brien, O.C. Field Artillery Lieutenant:Colonel Sheppard, O.C. Infantry Forces. Captain Grant, Brigade Major Brigade Surgeon, Lieutenant-Colonel Dawson, Principal Medical Officer Sergeant-Major Carpenter, Camp SergeantMajor Instructer Shaw, Brigade Clerk. 3. The several Corps will proceed to Camp on THURSDAY, 30th inst., in the order detailed below : — , , . , The Waikato Mounted Rifles, with their horses, will entrain at the Stations named : No. 1 Company —At Frankton, at 9 a.m. No. 2 Company and Kihikihi Detachment of No. 3 Company—At Te Awamutu, at 7.15 a.m. No. 3 Company at Cambridge at 7.15 a.m. These Corps will detrain at Remuera, and pro- " ceed to Camp under command of the Senior 1 Officer present. Auckland Mounted Rifles will assemble at their parade ground, at 6 p.m., and proceed ' \ to Camp. 4. Te Aroha Rifles will entrain at Te Aroha at 5 p.m., proceeding to Thames, where they will embark per s.s. Wakatere. Nos. 1,2, and 3 Companies Ohinemuri Rifles will entrain at Paeroa at 5.30 p.m., proceeding to Thames, where they will embark per s.s. Wakatwe. Thames Navals and Hauraki Rifles will embark at Thames, per s.s. Wakatere, 30 minutes before the advertised hour of sailing. Coromandel Rifles will embark at Coromandel at 7.30 p.m., per one of the Northern Steamship Company’s boats. Onehunga Rifles will parade at their Drill Hall at 7 p.m., and march to Camp. 5. All Corps arriving at Auckland by steamer will, on disembarking, march (without delay) to Camp. 6. “A ” Battery Artillery, with their guns, will parade at 7 p.m., and proceed to Camp. Auckland Infantry Battalion No. 1, Auckland Engineers, Garrison Band, and Bearer Company will’parade at the Drill Hall at 7.30 pm., and proceed to Camp under the command of the Senior Officer. 7 Auckland and Ponsonby Naval Artillery, and a detachment of Bearer Company, will parade at Drill Hall at 8.30 p.m., and proceed by Ferry t teamer to Camp at Devonport. Devonport Coastguard Artillery will parade at their Hall at 7.30 p.m., and proceed to their camping ground at Fort Takapuna. 8. Officers in command of companies will detail two men each to load and unload the biggage, all of which belonging to the Garrison Corps should be at Drill Hall not later than 9 p.m. on Wednesday, 29th inst. 9J Major Wi ite, No. 1 Infantry Battalion, will, during the Camp, take command of the No. 2 Infantry Battalion, to which Captain Self will act as Quartermaster.
