NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. RACES AT PARAWAI. ON MONDAY and TUESDAY, December 26th and 2'7th, a SPECIAL TRAIN will leave Cambridge at 7-25 a.m., Frankton Junction 8.5, Hamilton West 8.14, Morrinsville 9.0, Te Aroha 9.55, Paeroa 10.33, arriving Thames at 11.45 a.m. Special will return, leaving Thames at 6.30 p.m., and will stop where required both ways. Excursion fares as previously advertised. On December 26th and 27th the usual 8.25 a.m. train Cambridge to Frankton Junction will run an hour earlier than usual. BY ORDER. NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. Monday and Thursday, December 26th and 29th : — TRAINS will leave Auckland for Racecourse Platform every few minutes from 10.30 a.m to 2.10 p.m., returning as required from 4.30 p.m. up till 15 minntes after the last race. A train will leave Racecourse Platform for Onehunga at 6,5 p.m. Fares : Auckland or Newmarket to Racecourse Platform and return (including admission to Course) ... ... ... ••• 2s Auckland or Newmarket to Racecourse Platform and return (rail only) ... ... Is Racecourse to Auckland or Newmarket ... Is Reserved Cars for Ladies. Monday, December 26th : — The usual 4 p.m. Auckland train will not leave Helensville till 5. JO p.m., Henderson 6.25, Auckland arrive 7.26 p.m. Morning and evening trains will run between Helensville and Kaukapakapi as on Fridays and Saturdays. A special train will leave Auckland for Onehunga at at 11 15 p.m., same as on Saturdays. Monday, December 26th. and Thursday, December 29th ; — The usual 3.55 p.m. Auckland train will not leave Onehunga till 4.20 p.m. The usual 4 15 p.m. Mercer train will not leave Auckland till 5.30 p.m., Racecourse 6.5, Mercer arrive 8.35 p.m. The usual 5.20 p.m. Onehunga train will not leave Auckland till 5.30 p.m , Racecourse 6.5, Onehunga arrive 6.27 p.m. A special train will leave Auckland for Otahuhu at 12.30 p.m., returning leaving Otahuhu at 1.10 p.m. The usual 11.5 a.m. Auckland to Helensville, 12.30 p.m. Helensville to Auckland ; 12.50 p.m. Auckland to Mercer, 9.0 a.m. Mercer to Auckland, 5.0 p.m. Auckland to Penrose, 5.45 Penrose to Otahuhu, and the 6.35 p.m. Otahuhu to Penrose WILL NOT BUN. The Auckland Goods Shed will be closed on December 26th and 27th. Goods and live stock traffic will be suspended at all stations ‘on December 26th. Notice to Settlers : — The cattle train, will not run to Auckland on December 26th or January 2nd ; it will, however, run on Tuesday, December 27th.
