The May Meeting of the Auckland Coursing Club was commenced on the Avondale Plumpton on Wednesday. A better day for the inauguration of the coursing season could not have been wished, and the first and second rounds of the Puppy Stakes and first round of the Challenge Stakes were disp ■>sed of without a hitch.
