' - ’ ’ ,TO THE EDITOR. - . - Sir, —I crave space for a few lines in your valuable paper to refer to the handicapping of my horses, St. Hiko and Lady Helena, at the Takapuna Birthday Meeting. I have written to the club, asking Mr Knight to explain his adjustments and pointing out the discrepancies, and now ask jou to make it known ’ publicly for the benefit of those who have to play and pay for the game.—Yours, &c., .
