ASHBURTON MEETING.
[By Our Own Correspondent.] The Ashburton Race Meeting will be held on May 5 and 6. I shall have another opportunity of wiring my final selections, but at present I like the chances of Crescent and Paladin for the High-weight Handicap, Skirmisher and‘Epaulet for the Autumn Handicap, Botfly and Dot for the Pony Handicap, Double Event and Alcestis for the Grove Farm Handicap, and Bracelet and Miss Charm for the Flying Handicap.
