COROMANDEL RACES.

The results of the Coromandel races, run on Boxing Day, were as follows :— Goldfields Handicap—Nightingale 1, Maori Boy 2, Jessica 3. Other starters: Esparto, Xmas, Outlaw, Shaughraun, and Bones. Hurdle Race—Platch 1, Black Douglas 2. Other starters : Frank, Tattler, and Native. Maiden Race —Knight of Athol 1, Donegal 2, Shaughraun 3. Other starters: Outlaw, Thunderbolt, Bones, and Irish Brigade. Coromandel Cup—St. Ona 1, Jessica 2, Cornish 3. Other starters : Esparto and Thunderbolt, i Pony Race—Flossie 1, Ned 2, Zephyr 3. Other starters : Platch, Dewdrop, and Peek. Miners’ Plate— Knight of Athol 1, Nightingale 2 Xmas 3. Other starters : Maori Boy and Thunderbolt. Consolation >Race —Bones 1, Irish Brigade 2, Maor Boy 3.
