Our Illustrations.
Our illustrations this week include scenes at Ellerslie during Monday’s racing. These scenes are—“ In the Saddling Paddock,” “ Under the Pines,” “The Ellerslie Lawn,” “ Antares Weighing In,” and “ The Cup” (first time past the stand). A cycling picture represents Carpenter (the winner of the Austral Wheel Ra'ce), mounted on his bike, in the centre of a number of friends. A picture of Mrs Reginald Coke (of the Eileen O’Moore Concert Company) also appears.
