A hack is a horse that has never won an advertised race (hack and hunter races excepted), and that is not at time of start, and has not been during the three calendar months previous to the start, nominated for any race (hack and hunter races excepted). 3. All nominations must include description, age, pedigree, colours of rider, and name of owner. Horses in all cases to carry the said colours, and also numbered saddlecloth, provided by the club. 4. All nominations with the necessary amount in net cash, must be in the hands of the secretary at advertised time ; post-marks will not be recognised on any pretext whatever. 5. All races to be run under the Wanganui Metropolitan Rules of Racing. 6. No entry will be received for any race except on the distinct condition that any and all claims, disputes, and objections which may arise in connection with the racing shallbe settled by the stewards or whom they may appoint; such decision to be final.
