This week we present pictures of Welcome Katie, with filly foal by St. Leger. By way .of diversifying oui’ illustraf ions, a picture of the Pakuranga hounds is given, showing them waiting for the order to kennel up. A trio of winners at the recent Foxton meeting are given in Britannia, who won the first and second hack hurdle races, Redberry, winner of the Trial Hurdle Race, and Sing-Song, winner of the Railway HandicapThe latter mare won a double at Woodville yesterday, viz., Stewards’ Hack Handicap and Telegraph Hack Handicap. A picture is also given of Electro, who won the two hack hurdle races at the Rangitikei meeting.
