ANNUAL SALES OF BLOODSTOCK.
The first of the annual sales of bloodstock will take place next Monday (30th inst.) at MotuKorea (Brown’s Island), when Messrs Alison Bros.’ consignment of ten highly-bred yearlings ■will be auctioned. The youngsters are all well developed and were fully described in last week’s Review. The sale is timed for 3 p.m., and a special steamer will convey intending purchasers, leaving the Ferry Tee at 1.30 p in., returning to arrive in Auckland at 5.30 p.m. The annual dispersal of the famous Wellington Park Stud takes place on Friday, January 3rd, when a numerous collection will be auctioned. An illustrated visit to the Stud by “ Borderer” appears in this issue, and will give buyers some idea of the grand stock to be offered. Several yearlings by the defunct Blairgowrie will be sold after the Park draft has been disposed of.
