He won 32 races out of 66 starts. Billingsgate has proved his ability to get the best steeplechase horses in the country, he being the sire of Mangere, Justice, Pica, Jessica, Gipsy, and Orakei. The followingtwo also won races in Australia : Forget-me-not and Piaroa; the latter has won a number of steeplechases in Melbourne, carrying big weights.
