Tub Spobtixg Rkvikw has been appointed the pjiciaZ Calendar for the publication of all programmes m the provincial District of Auckland, in terms of Rule 17 of 1 !? reads The programme of each meeting in Which the added money is £lOO or upwards must be advertised in full once at least in the Official Calendar. The advertisement shall show that the programme has been approved by the Jockey Club, shall state the days on which the meeting is to begin and end, and the names of the stewards, judge, starter, clerk of the scales, and notifications for the future published in this column are so published under the authority of the Auckland Racing Clnb, and are binding on country clubs and others, who must therefore duly note the same. Waerenga-a-hika J.C.—May 24 Gisborne Park Steeplechase Meeting—July 16 DISQUALIFICATIONS. • The following disqualifications by the Te Aroha Jockey Club have been endorsed by the A.B.C.:—That the horse Arawa, or Emmett, be disqualified for life. The disqualification of the horse Bookas or Bacchus, inflicted by the Gisborne Racing Club, has been removed by the Auckland Racing Club. All horses, trainers, jockeys, and owners that took part in the Northern Wairoa Tracing Club Meeting, held on the 26th and 27th December, 1892, and the Whangarei Racing Club Meeting, held on 6th and 7th January, 1893, are disqualified. The disqualification has been removed by the A.R.C. from ponies, owners, trainers and jockeys that have competed at meetings at Potter’s Paddock prior to Ist August, 1893. The | disqualification of John Penn el, jockey, by the Thames Jockey Club, for six months, from 26th Dec., has been endorsed by the A.R.C. William A. Martin, nominator, is disqualified for wrong description of horse at a race meeting held at Pakarae on 28th November last. ——— Thk Committee of the Auckland Racing Club meet on the first Monday in each month to pass programmes and transact general business.
