To owners of ponies.—The certificate of the Auckland Racing Club must be produced or Ponies will not be allowed to start. Ponies requiring to be measured must be at Mr Buckland’s Sale Yard the day before the race up to five o’clock. Nomination not returned if pony fails to pass the standard. L Mr H. H. Hayr, at the office of Sporting Review, will receive nominations and acceptances on behalf of the Club. RULES AND REGULATIONS. All Races to be run under the A.R.C. rules. No entry will be received for any race except upon this condition—That all disputes and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the. stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all pointsconnected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. Nominations and acceptances must be accompanied by cash or cheque. If two horses belonging to one owner start, a distinguishing colour must be worn. Any person neglecting this rule to be fined two pounds (£2). All persons intending to withdraw horses are required to give notice to the Secretary or Clerk of the Scales one half-hour before the advertised time of starting. Any person failing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine not exceeding five pounds (£5). . • Pedigree and particulars to be forwarded with nomination. . . Colours to be stated at time of entry, and any jockey riding except in the declared colours will be fined three pounds (£3). Attention is specially called to this rule as it will be strictly enforced. Two pounds (£2) must be lodged with every objection, which shall be forfeited if the stewards think it frivolous.
