As a three-year-old Leolantis won the Auckland Guineas, one mile, and was second to Cissy in the Prince of Wales’ Handicap. He was bred at the famous Rancho del Paso Stud of Mr J. B. Haggin, at Sacramento, California, and specially imported here by his present owner. I Albert Victor’s sire, Albert W., has a record of 2.20. He is sire of Little Albert, 2.17}; Dudley Olcott, 2.26} ; and Flowing Tide (pacer), 2.22}. Albert W.’s sire, Electioneer, is famous as sire of a host of winners, including that great trotter Sunol, 2.8}. Albert W.’s dam, Victorine, is full sister in blood to Lohengrin, who has a record of 2.27}.
