Entrance 1 sov, and acceptance 3 sovs each, to go to the funds. One mile and a quarter. Auckland Plate of 150 sovs ; second horse to receive 20 sovs from the stakes. For three-year-olds and upwards. Weight-for-age. Entrance 2 sovs, and 3 sovs at the post each, to go to the funds. Winner of the Canterbury Cup or Derby, or of the Auckland Derby, to cany 71b extra, or of two of these races, 101 b extra, or any weight-for-age race of 200 sovs, 51b extra. One mile and a half. Auckland Steeplechase Handicap of 300 sovs, second horse to receive 40 sovs, and third horse 10 sovs out of the stakes. Entrance 2 sovs, acceptance 3 soys, and a final payment of 5 sovs at the post each, to go to the funds. About three miles and a half. Newmarket Handicap of 100 sovs; second horse to receive 10 sovs. out of the stakes. For three-year-olds and upwards. Entrance 1 sov, and acceptance 2 sovs each to go to the funds. Winner of any race after publication of weights to carry 51b penalty. Six furlongs.

Musket Stakes of 150 sovs; second horse to receive 20 sovs, and third horse 10 sovs out of the stakes. For two and three-year-olds. Two-year-olds to carry 7.7 ; three-year-olds 9.0; fillies allowed 31b, geldings 51b. A winner of any race (including handicaps) since Ist August, 189 i, to carry 31b extra; of any race of the value of 100 sovs, 51b extra ; twice of 100 sovs, or once of 200 sovs, 71b extra : twice of 200 sovs, or once of 300 sovs, 101 b extra; thrice of 200 sovs, twice of 300 sovs, or once of 500 sovs, 141 b extra. Those got by stallions or out of mares that have never produced a winner at time of starting, allowed 51b. Maiden two-year-olds at time of starting to be allowed 51b in addition to the breeding allowance. Maiden three-year-olds at time of starting allowed 101 b.
