RACING PROGRAMMES . Weights to appear about Friday, March 3rd, 1893. Acceptances close on Friday, March 10th, 1893, at 10 p.m. RULES AND REGULATIONS. No entry will be received for any of the races except upon this condition That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. Any jockey riding except in the colours entered, or neglecting to declare his colours at the time of entry, will be fined 3 sovs. When two or more horses start, the property ot the same owner, a distinguishing colour must be worn. Any person neglecting this rule will be fined 2 sovs. No nomination or acceptance will be received on any pretence whatever after the hour named, or without being accompanied by the necessary amount of cash. The attention of owners is particularly called to this regulation. , , , All persons intending to withdraw horses are requested to give notice to that effect to the Secretary or Clerk of Scales one half hour before the official time of starting. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine not exceeding 5 sovs to the race fund. All races to be run under the A.R.C.’s new rules. For ponies 14 hands 2 inches and under, that have never won an advertised race exceeding 10 sovs in value at time of entry. Nomination, 10s; Acceptance, 10s. Distance, 5 furlongs. Otahuhu Trotting O t jp (Handicap) of 65 sovs ; second horse to receive 10 sovs from the stake. The winner of the Maiden Trot to receive a penalty of 15 seconds behind its original start. Nomination, 20s ; Acceptance, 40s. Distance, 3 miles. Handicap Flying Stakes of 30 sovs; second pony to receive 5 sovs from the stake. For ponies 14 hands 2 inches and under. The winner of any race after the declaration of the weights to carry a penalty of 51b. Nomination, 10s ; Acceptance, 20s. Distance, 6 furlongs. Harness Handicap Trot of 40 sovs. ; second horse to receive 5 sovs. from the stake. The winner of any trotting race after the declaration of the handicaps to receive a penalty of 12 seconds, two or more 20 seconds behind its original start. Nomination, 20s ; Acceptance, 20s. Distance, 2j miles. Handicap Hurdles of 30 sovs.; second pony to receive 5 sovs. from the stake. For ponies 14 hands 2 inches and under. Over six flights of hurdles. Nomination, 155.; Acceptance. 15s. Distance, 1| miles. Electric Trot Handicap of 30 sovs. ; second horse to receive 5 sovs. from the stakes. The winner of any trotting race after the declaration of the handicaps to receive a penalty of 5 seconds behind its original start; of two or more, 10 seconds. No horse to receive more than 22 seconds in the original handicap. Nomination, 155., Acceptance, 15s. Distance, 1 mile.
