TARANAKI J.C.’S AUTUMN.

The Taranaki Jockey Club have received good encouragement from owners over their Autumn Meeting, as the list published in another column will show. There are 27 in the Jockey Club Handicap, 28 in the Autumn Handicap, 26 in the Grand Stand Handicap, 26 in the Flying Handicap, a dozen in each Hurdle Race, 16 in the Shorts Handicap, 16 in the Welter Handicap. The Aucklanders engaged are Ida, Tit, Tulloch, Lottie, Stranger, Morion, Eve, Marquis of Tewkesbury, Sandy Muir, Marechai Neil, and Isidore. The weights for the first day’s handicaps are due on the 28th inst.
