, <An acceptance of eight for this event is , very poor, and only tends to further show what a bad lot of chasers are about now. v Last week I picked out a trio as best in ~ at ; the weights. They were Fishmonger, Aorere, and Mangare, and the trio were on acceptance night. 1 have (./already expressed a preference for Aorere, I shall not desert him, albeit he has vet got over a country, but I shall Fishmonger and Mangare to . piake a big fight of it with him.. How(<ever Aorere is still my choice.
