Auckland. Tattersail’s.

The annual meeting of the members of Auckland Tattersail’s Club was held on Tuesday evening. There was a good attendance, and Mr. L. A. Levy, the Chairman of the Club, presided. The following report was submitted “ Your Committee beg to submit their report and balance-sheet for the year ending September, 1892. It will be gratifying to members to know that the Club continues to maintain its satisfactory financial position, showing assets amounting to £334 17s. lid., with no liabilities. A liberal amount has been written off furniture, etc., for depreciation. Your Committee are pleased to be able to state that the purchase of a billiard table has proved a great attraction to members of the Club, and has also been a success financially, besides acting as an inducement to new members to join. An alteration having been made in the rules of the Club, the whole of the present committee retire, and you will be asked to elect a new committee of seven from ten candidates, who have been nominated in accordance with the above-named alteration. You will also require to elect two auditors for the ensuing year. —L. A. Levy, Chairman.” The balance-sheet appended to the report showed that the Club have a credit balance of £22 2s. sd.
