Ashurst-Pohangina Hack Racing Club.
At the annual meeting of the AshurstPohangina (Wellington) Flack Racing Club, the following officers for the ensuing year were elected : —president, Mr. J. Cotter ; vice-president, Mr. W. Akers ; judge, Mr. J. Cotter; clerk of the scales, Mr. S. T. Hunt ; handicapper, Mr. J. Henry ; starter, Mr. C. A. W. Hunt ; timekeeper, Mr. H. W. Haybillle ; secretary, Mr. J. T. Freeman ; treasurer, Mr. G. S. Rumble; clerk of the course, Mr. W. J. Cornford ; stewards, Messrs. Cotter, C. A. W. Hunt, Ward, F. Retemeyer, D. J. Conchie, S. T. blunt and H. Woodham. The balance-sheet for the past season showed 367 7s 8d receipts and £336 15s 8d expenditure, leaving a credit bank balance of £3O 12s.
