Judging by his two-year-old running, he should have a good say in this event. The training ground fees of the Wanganui Jockey Club for last season amounted to the sum of £5l 10s. William Henry George, who is well known on this coast, has arrived in Wanganui with a view of taking charge of Mr. H- Caddy’s horses, viz., She, Mirabelle, and others. The salary is 10 guineas per day’s racing. All applications to be addressed to Mr. A. E. Brett, secretary Egmont Racing Club. The Wanganui Jockey Club have drawn up a first-class programme for their Spring Meeting.
