ELLERSLIE TRAINING NOTES.

Monday.—The following horses worked on the trial track. Hopeful Kate twice round at half speed. Minnie and Tuna in company twice round at three-quarter pace. Moderatort wice round at half speed. Capella and Maccarom once round at three-quarter speed. Patchwork cantered twice round. Impulse twice round slow. Orakei cantered twice round. Antelope went twice round at half speed. Nap, Omata, and Williamson’s b g went twice round the plough at a steady pace. Tuesday,—The following horses worked on the plough. Omata went three times round steady. Williamson’s b gi Nap, and Begorra twice at a slow pace. Impulse once steady.' Flint once round trial track steady. Antelope twice round the trial track at half speed. Moderator twice round the plough at half speed. Hopeful Kate twice round the plough at half pace. Satan trotted and cantered twice round. ’ Wednesday.—The following horses worked on the plough; Omata went three times round steady, so did Willianson’s b g and Begorra. Maccaroni twice round at three-quarter speed, and Capella once at the same pace.' 8 Patchwork once at three-quarter speed. Fishmonger went once round at a fast past, Moderator then joined in and they went another round at top speed. Impulse went twice round the trial track steady. Antelope twice round the plough at a good canter. Hopeful Kate and Tuna twice at a good three-quarter pace, and Flint twice steady. Thursday.—Nothing particular was done, all the horses doing slow work. Friday.—Fishmonger went once round the plough at three-quarter speed. Hopeful Kate and Minnie went once round steady, the second round Minnie came away, finishing fast, Hopeful Kate continuing the circuit slow. Orakei twice round slow. Nap, Satan, and AVilliamson’s b g twice round at half speed. Maccaroni and Capella went once rouud at a good pace. Vendetta twice steady. Miss. Cole twice steadily. Begorra and Omata twice round at a good sound gallop.
