ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
The Editor desires to acknowledge tlie nceipt of a circular from the Premier containing his suggestions for checking the decline of the birthrate, and also one from the Catholic Bishops on the Bible in Schools questions. As those have both been published in the principal papers of the colony, while thanking the senders for their attention, he i oes not think his readers would thank him for taking up the pages of this Magazine with matter which they have already seen in other publications.
