June 7. On the Links. On Saturday last a most delicious tea was provided by Mesdames F. W. Traill and Dodgshun and Miss N. Davies. The tables were tastefully decorated with orange-tinted marigolds. Morice, Misses Coleman, Gray (2), Williams 12), Ludbrook, Graham, Collis, Matthews, and ninny others. Musical. A very enjoyable organ recital was given by Mr. E. VI. Sidebottom, assisted by Mr. I). M. Menzies (baritone soloist), on June 3rd at the new Holy Trinity Church. Amongst those present were: Mesdames, Sidebottom, Ruiieiman, Arlidge. Hookey, Davies, Pallairet, sen., B. de Latour, Horn, Misses Davies, Hookey (2), Runciman (2), Bull, Messrs. Dawson, Thomas, King, F. Pallairet, Arlidge, and L. Muir. Personal. Miss Urouin, of Chiswick. England, who has been visiting friends in Gisborne, left for the ’Old Country last Wednesday. Miss Gossett i Dunedin) is on a visit to Gisborne. .Miss Barnard, of Dunedin, is at present the gue-t of Mi-s D. Bull, Russell Street. Mrs. J. W. Williams left for the South on Wednesday last. Miss M. Agnew-Brown is visiting friends in Hawke's Bay. Mrs. Marsden Clarke, of Auckland, is on a visit to Gisborne.

The Misses Williams, of “Pakaraka,” Gisborne, are at present on a visit to Auckland. Miss Watkins is at present the guest of Mrs. F. J. Kemp, Tuparoa. Miss Sigma Evans han returned from her visit to Opotiki. Miss A. Busby, of Tokomaru Bay, is paying a visit to Gisborne. Miss Bernau, of Napier, is staying with Dr. and Mrs. Singer, Stout Street. Misses D. Orr and C. Watkins are on a visit to Mrs. G. A. Busby, Tokomaru Bay. Rev. W. Grant returned to Gisborne on Saturday last. Mr. B. Watkins, of the Coast, ie visiting in Auckland. Mr. G. >S. Kemp, of Muriwai, is on a visit to the Bay of Islands, Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. Biddles have returned from their trip to the South. Mrs. A. J. Faulknor and child have returned to Muriwai, after visiting in Hawke’s Bay. Mr. and Mre. Jex-Blake have returned to Gisborne. Mr. Claude Williams left on Sunday last for the South. Mr. W. D. Eysnar returned on Wednesday from the South. Mr. 8. Murray (Waikohu) is at present in Gisborne. The Rev. W. Clarkson is the guest of the Rev. Archdeacon Williams, Te Kau.
