Mrs. Richmond (Nelson) and Miss Rogers tied for the prize for the “ Rose Competition,” and Mrs. G. Seymour won the prize for guessing the nearest number of beads on a necklace. A delicious tea was arranged in the din-ing-room, the table being daintily decorated with white chrysanthemums, autumn leaves and maidenhair ferns. The hostess received her guests in a handsome gown of Caprin blue charmease, veiled in nary-blue veiled ninon with rose-pink velvet nt the waist. —- Among those present were: — Mrs. W. Strachan. Subsequently Air. and Mrs. Strachan were the guests of the Sisters at afternoon tea at the Convent.

Dance. A very enjoyable subscription aanu. took place in St Patrick’s Hall on Thursday. The supper table was daintily decorated with chrysanthemums and autumn leaves.
