Marell 19. Tennis. I'he Hamilton Tennis (.’lab is holding a tournament during the Easter holidays. Very good entries have been received, and some high-class tennis is looked forward to. It is a pity the Hamilton Club’s courts are not better situated, from an onlooker's point of view. Polo. The New Zealand championship polo tournament is to take place in Palmerston North in Easter week. A good contingent of Waikato players, including Hamilton, Te Awamutu, and Ohaupo, is to take part. A good many of the wives are accompanying their husbands, and .they will thus be able to secure a carriage to themselves for what will be quite a merry party. Personal. The Bishop of Auckland has been conducting mission services throughout the Waikato this week* and is expected to be in Hamilton on Good Friday. Mrs. Hume has just returned from a motor trip to Auckland and Tauranga, which was most enjoyable. Mr. and Mrs. W. Graham left on Friday last by the Moldavia for Melbourne. Mrs. A. Hyde has just returned from Palmerston North and Wellington, where she was summoned owing to her mother's illness. Mr. and Mrs. Hyde h-ave on Thursday morning for Taupo by motor, coming back to Rotorua on Monday for a few days. Mrs. W. A. Hunter and family left by midday express on Tuesday for Auek,htnd.
