A SUCCESSFUL GARDEN FETE AT THE PRIME MINISTER’S RESIDENCE IN WELLINGTON.

The fuudw of the Society for the Promotion of the Health of Women and Children benefited considerably as the result of a garden fete organised by the committee of the Society, find held last week In the grounds ot the Prime Minister's residence. The Countess of Liverpool, who arrived during the afternoon, was received by the Prime Minister and Mrs Massey, together with Mrs Algar Williams (president of the Society), Dr. Platts-Mllls, and Mrs Fitchett. In the middle of the top row is a picture of Maynard Thompson (age, 8 months; weight, 2st 81b), winner ot a special prise at the baby show.
