THE RESULT OF AN HOUR 'S FISHING IN THE HAURAKI GULF— A RECORD CATCH OF HAPUKA. Last week the crews of the launches owned by Messrs. Walter Bailey. W. Wilson, and A. Brett had some splendid fishing off Canoe Rock. In about an hour, eight or nine lines accounted for 45 hapuka. ranging up to 651 lbs. in weight, besides a number of schnapper, several sharks and a large octopus.
