SNAPSHOTS AT THE VICE-REGAL LEVEE IN WELLINGTON.
t His Excellency the Governor held a levee at Government House, Wellington, on January 14th. In addition to his Excellency’s personal staff. Colonel Heard. Major Hume, and the members of the Headquarters Staff of the Defence Forces were also in attendance. The Guard of Honour was provided by the Royal New Zealand Artillery, under the command of Lieut. J. M. Richmond. The band of the sth Regiment (Wellington Rifles) also attended.
