November 30. Tennis. There were a large number of players at the courts on Saturday and several matches were played off during the afternoon. A dainty tea was provided by Airs. Kells and the Afisses Z. and U. Williams. Amongst those present were: Mesdames Parris, Henderson, Murray, Steele, Rees, W. R. Barker, Stock, Traill, Callis, Alatthews, Thorne-George, and Hine; Afisses de Lautour (3), Berry, Nolan (2), Davies. Afurray, Runcimann, Rees, Bennett, Black, Evans, Bradley, Dodgshun. Hine. Watkins. Russell, King, Faulkner and Booth, Afessrs. Callis, E. G. Alatthews, N. Bull. Rees, W. R. Barker, C. A. Fenwick, Willock, O’Brien, Fulton, Alurray, Evans, Bremner, Kissling, Kells, Nolan, Smart, Smith, Stock, Orr, Read, Henderson, and AlcKenzie. Personal. Air. and Airs. G. Al. Dodgshun returned home on Sunday from Auckland.

Mr. and Mrs. King Read (Tuparoa) are in Gisborne for a few days. Miss S. Foster, who has been staying with friends in Gisborne, returned to Auckland on Wednesday.
